In this page, I've concentrated on finding alternatives to Geocities and Tripod (on the assumption that you wanted some, or you wouldn't be here!) I'm still hunting, but in the meantime you can check these out...

Crosswinds - These guys must be among the nicest on earth. Unlimited web space and a choice of e-mail forwarding or full-blown POP accounts...all for free! Used to be a trifle slow, but that's past tense. A definite thumbs up!
Fortunecity - The people at fortunecity offer you 10 Mb of free space. That's a helluva lot, but the sites are slow...quite!
